After a three day repair I decided i do not want to risk using Windows XP.especially one marked "For new PC's only" I have a Macbook Pro and wanted this program to run Sims 2.BUT Boot Camp and VMFusion crashed my computer. This came too late to be of use and so it remains packaged and ready to return.however no response has come from e-mails to request a refund. The seller sent me an e-mail to let me know it was on backorder and asked if I wanted to cancel.I didn't cancel at the time but should have.
Product was delivered on the date promised. Great product, especially compared to their ME and Vista products.
I am returning it for a refund. I received this product damaged. It had a huge scratch on the disc and would not download into my computer.
I really just needed it to run a few programs, both of which would run fine on a netbook and then I'd have had a whole other computer. I bought this to run on my macbook pro. The installation and updating process for windows still amazes me for the number of steps required. This version really should be $100. It works fine with the new version of parallels which is a big improvement over the previous version. In retrospect, given the cost, I'd probably have been better off getting an Acer or HP netbook for $20-$40 more.
Not so great. Old pc came with XP. Nuf said. New pc now has XP. Great. New pc came with Vista.
